However, young children typically have much smaller eyes and because cosplay lenses are designed for adults, and are often sold as a one-size-fits-all product, we don’t recommend them for use by anyone under the age of 16.

How many hours can you wear cosplay contacts?

In general, advice surrounding the maximum wear time for cosplay contacts is the same as it is for regular vision correcting contacts, this usually ranges from 8-12 hours. However, your optometrist will be able to give you specific advice, and to promote healthy eyes, we don’t recommend exceeding 8-hours wear time unless advised otherwise by your optometrist. Of course, if you begin to experience any pain, discomfort, or swelling, you should remove the lenses immediately.
