Hellraiser Contact Lenses (Pinhead)

Designed to accurately replicate the deathly black eyes of demonic serial-killer Elliot Spencer AKA Pinhead, our Pinhead contact lenses feature a pure-black design with distinct red detailing around the limbal ring. Alsoknown as Lead Cenobite or The Hell Priest among other names, he is the Chief antagonist of the Hellraiserhorror franchise. Portrayed with a bald head and pale skin that appears divided into squares and studded with nails at intersections, Pinhead has become a horror-movie icon and a popular theme for SFX makeup artists and cosplayers. Also a popular Halloween theme, even high-profile celebrities including Megan Thee Stallion have recreated his distinctive look for October 31.

Drawing inspiration from The Hellbound Heart (1986), a novella by Clive Barker, the Hellraiser franchise nowspans 11 live-action films with the most recent being Hellraiser (2022) which served as reboot. The frachise’s plot consists of a mystical puzzle box that can be used to summon the former human, and otherworldly, dimension-crossing band of demonic beings known as the Cenobites. Unable to decipher between pain and pleasure, they inflict gruesome and incomprehensible horrors upon their victims including extreme torture and even ripping their flesh apart with hooked chains.

Although the Hellraiser franchise plays host to the best-known and most commonly cosplayed incarnation of Pinhead, hence it being the basis for the design our Pinhead contacts, he actually appeared much earlier in Hunters in the Snow (1973). Meanwhile, following on from the films there have been various comics including spin-off titles Pinhead and The Harrowers as well as a number of video game appearances including Hellraiser (1991) and Dead By Daylight (2016).

Manufactured right here in the UK, our Pinhead contact lenses are a popular design from our extensive selection of horror contacts. Hand-printed using approved black and red dye, they contain 62% polymacon and 38% water which leaves them soft to touch, comfortable to wear, and surprisingly durable. Packaged as single lenses in sterile plastic blisters, but sold as pairs, they have a 90-day lifespan and can be worn safely for up to eight consecutive hours.
