Red Heart Contact Lenses (Queen Of Hearts)

Designed to transform your eyes into symmetrical red love hearts, our red heart contact lenses are a new addition to our cosplay range, and feature a bright red heart shape or symbol printed upon a pure-white background. Also featuring a clear circular pupil that neatly aligns with your natural black pupil allowing you to see uninhibited, they are ideal for use in Halloween costumes and cosplays based on the Queen Of Hearts or the Red Queen as she’s sometimes also known. Featuring as the primary antagonist in Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865) as well as Disney’s Alice in Wonderland (1951), and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland (2010), she is the oppressive, terror inducing ruler of Wonderland.

Queen Of Hearts to one side, our red heart contacts can also be used to replicate the eyes of an extensive list of Anime characters whose eyes have at some point been portrayed with heart shaped irises or pupils in order to express love or admiration. These include Genzo Shibata from Kemono Michi and Usagi Tsukino from Sialor Moon. Meanwhile, there are a number of characters that have permanent heart shaped eyes, these include Modeus, the Lustful demon from the Helltaker video game.

Universally recognised as a symbol of love, the heart shape’s use dates back to 1250’s France where it was first used to represent love in a manuscript titled the Roman de la poire. Essentially a diamond shape with a couple of semi circles atop, it was actually used upside down until the fourteenth century. 

Designed and manufactured right here in the UK, our red heart coloured contacts are hand-printed with approved red and white dye. Containing 62% polymacon and 38% water, they have been scientifically formulated to provide exceptional comfort and durability. Packaged individually in sterile plastic blisters, they are sold as pairs with a 90-day lifespan, and boast a recommended wear time of up to eight consecutive hours.
